The Human Genetics
Journal Club publishes the hgjc-meeting-announce electronic mailing
list for the distribution of information about:
- Journal Club
presentations made primarily by SUMC faculty and postdoctoral
fellows generally on a weekly basis during the academic year.
Current practice is that email notice of the date, speaker, topic,
and journal reference(s) for a presentation is sent to the
hgjc-meeting-announce list once during the week preceding, and
again on the morning of, each Journal Club
presentation.
- Other SUMC seminars
or conferences related to genetics. Current practice is that
notice of such other meetings is sent to the hgjc-meeting-announce
list infrequently during the year and only after approval by the
Journal Club's supervising faculty member.
The
hgjc-meeting-announce list is an announcement (not discussion) list.
Only the Journal Club administrator may post to the list, or obtain a
list of all subscriber addresses.
